Bath Arts Festival – Bath Community Park, 1615 N. Cleveland Massillon Road, Akron, Ohio 44333. 65 local artists. Enjoy fun, food, entertainment, and high quality arts and crafts in the beautiful setting of Bath Community Park. This community event has been a yearly occurrence since 2016.

July 16, 2024 (Tuesday, 2 – 3:30 pm)
Create Mystical Mushroom Creatures with Watercolor (Signup link coming soon) – Brunswick Library, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Using characters from his award-winning book, local author and illustrator Glenn Somodi will walk you through the basics of watercolor and teach you to draw and paint mystical mushroom creatures. You can take your painting home at the end of class. He will also award art supplies and mushroom-themed items to a few attendees for the best work. Signed, limited edition copies of his illustrated book series, Olly & the Spores, will be available at the end of class. Each book also comes with a special mushroom or leaf sprig bookmark.
AUGUST 10, 2024 (12 – 4:30 pm)
Mid-Ohio INDY Book Fair – 3960 Brookham Dr. Grove City, OH 43123. This event is for you! Meet indie authors from different genres, from inspirational romance to graphic novels. There will be something for everyone, including fabulous door prizes! Parents, bring your little ones along, too. There will be activities to keep them occupied, including a craft corner. You’ll also be able to nosh while at the Expo. We will have some awesome food vendors showcasing their edible delights.
