My workday starts around 8:30 a.m., and about ten minutes before that my office gets filled with furry coworkers. Four of them to be exact! They are very punctual and each has their own place in the office hierarchy. Nala, the cross-eyed Siamese tabby (and inspiration for Fizzy in Book 1) usually pushes Beckham, our Yorkshire Terrier, off a cushioned bed and he ends up lying on the cold floor. Coco, the black Chantilly Tiffany, usually spends her time staring out the window and chewing on her favorite houseplant. Our newest member, a rare female Maine Coon kitten named Josie, usually terrorizes the other three before rolling into a ball on top of the chair in my office.
